Mobile usage

There has been  unabted growth in the cellular subscribers. The figure has already crossed 50 lakh mark in November 2001 with 2 lakh subscribers adding each month. This is one of the fastest growing market in the present scenario,a growth rate of about 50 percent per annum. 

The encouraging part is this time the increase is coming from the Category B and Category C circles which means that mobile phones are penetrating in the masses.

There are no studies as yet to show the correlation with the Satellite channel viewers and the Mobile access. However it can be assumed that a person with mobile phone will necessarily have the Television with the Satellite Channels.
