How to send SMS using Positive?

After registering and logging-in with your username and password you'll immediately see a form for sending messages with 100 FREE SMS credits. Simply type the recipient's number on the To field and the message into the Message field and click the send message button.

How do people reply to my messages?
You can choose your alpha name as sender or can write your mobile no. in the message. People can reply to your messages using the reply function of their mobile phone selecting your mobile number.

We shall shortly launch a premium feature whereby our member can validate their mobile number and thereafter messages can be sent using mobile number as the sender. These messages can be replied directly.

What are SMS credits?
SMS credits are Positive's currency unit to express our prices. One text message is equivalent to 2 credits. The price per message varies according to the Price Plan you have selected.

How do I purchase SMS credits?
Click on the Registration form and fill in the required fields. SMS credits can be bought using our secure credit card ordering system through paypal. Paypal accepts all kinds of credit cards viz VISA, Mastercard credit cards.

Is there an expiration date for the SMS credits I purchased?
SMS credits are valid for 1 year from date of purchase. However, if you purchase additional SMS credits or "top-up" your account before the 1 year expiration, any un-used SMS credits are carried over to the next period otherwise they are expired.

I cannot remember my Username or Password, what should I do?

Just click on Forget Password link on the Positive website and give us the details of your account that you can remember. We will reply with your  Password through the email address you registered when you signed up for Positive Messaging.

What is a flash message?

The flash message service enables you to send to a mobile phone a message that will appear at the recipient's mobile screen. This means that your recipient won't have to read the message in his mobile phone's inbox.

I sent an SMS but it did not reach the destination, why?
Check for your Network Operator on our Network Coverage page. If your operator is not present on the list then you are not covered. If your operator is covered but no message arrived, then check the following:
- Is the GSM number entered correctly?
  For GSM the syntax is  - Country Code + Mobile No.
  For CDMA the syntax is - Country Code + City STD Code + CDMA mobile
  No
- Does the message exceed 160 characters?
- Do u have adequate credits?
- Is internet connection live?

I did not get my activation code, why?
If you did not specify your mobile phone number when you registered with Positive SMS, you will not receive an activation code.
If you have entered your mobile phone number when you registered and still you did not receive any activation code, please check the following:

- Make sure your mobile phone is turned on.
- Make certain you have entered the country code and the entire mobile phone number without the leading zeros. Example: India 91(country code) 98110xxxxx (mobile phone number).

- If you still haven't received your validation code, please Contact Us with your mobile phone number, carrier, and country.

How do I enter a mobile phone number in the "TO" field of the on-line messaging center?
Enter the country code and the mobile phone number without the leading zero. Example: India 91(country code) 98110xxxxx (mobile phone number).

How do I send one message to a group of people with just one click?
Just separate multiple mobile phone numbers by a comma (,) or you can create your own personal groups using your Phonebook Groups in our offline PositiveSMS.

How do I send schedule message OR can i specify time at which my message should go?
Yes ! from our online account at www.positivecomsol.com. Just select schedule sms and give time when you come on  'Send SMS' page. Message will be stored with the time given and will go on that time only.

There might be slight delay in message delivery in scheduled messages as we have huge request for scheduled SMS on certain occasions as New Year!.
